The Altitude project replaced a parking lot at the corner of Cathcart and University streets, a stone's throw from Place Ville-Marie. 

The skyscraper is a luxury condo building, a prestige project that offers the same kind of services as a hotel, such as a swimming pool, spa, sports center, lounge, restaurant, business center, conference room, janitor, etc. security, porter and valet service, concierge service and reception room.

The project was led by Groupe Daca, who acted as developer-builder, and the plans were drawn up by Groupe Jean-Pierre Lagacé Archutectes, with Nicoles Vekemans handling the design side. Nicolet Chartrand, Knoll (NCK), who worked on the Louvre Pyramid project among others, acted as structural engineers, while Bouthillette Parizeau (BPA) were the building's mechanical engineers. Penthouses of up to 3,000 sq. ft. will occupy the top three floors, while the lower floors will be occupied by condos of 844 sq. ft. and more.
